Maverick Climate Co. was founded in 2014 by a career HVAC tradesman who spent the early 2000s running install crews for three Phoenix-area shops. He saw the same problems over and over: oversized systems sold because they were on the truck, undersized returns choking new equipment, refrigerant charges done by gut feel instead of subcooling.
We built Maverick to do it the other way around. Heat-load calc first. Equipment recommendation second. Honest written quote third. Then a clean, code-compliant install with the start-up paperwork actually filled out.

Will you remove and dispose of my old AC?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the existing equipment is included in our installation quote. We pull the refrigerant down to legal levels using EPA-certified recovery equipment, disconnect the line set and electrical, and haul the old condenser and air handler off-site. Where applicable, we also handle the refrigerant recovery paperwork required for older R-22 systems.
What SEER2 rating should I get for Arizona summers?
Phoenix-area summer cooling loads run long and hard, so efficiency pays back faster here than in mild climates.
